The current Pokémon GO meta is firmly dominated by Gigantamax forms, with G-Max Pokémon filling the top two tiers almost entirely. Dynamax legendaries and Shadow variants offer strong supporting roles across raids and PvP, while standard Dynamax forms occupy the lower tiers with more situational value.

S tier is packed with elite Gigantamax performers. Gigantamax Inteleon leads the pack with outstanding Water-type damage and a devastating G-Max move that excels in both raids and PvP. Gigantamax Gengar brings terrifying Ghost and Poison-type pressure, while Gigantamax Kingler delivers crushing Water-type burst that few can withstand. Gigantamax Rillaboom rounds out the Grass-type representation with powerful G-Max Drum Solo damage.

Crowned Sword Zacian stands as the lone non-Gigantamax entry, and it earns its place with exceptional Fairy-type offensive output and unmatched base stats. Every Pokémon in this tier is a must-have for serious players.

A tier is stacked with Gigantamax heavyweights that fall just short of S tier dominance. Gigantamax Cinderace and Gigantamax Charizard both deliver fierce Fire-type pressure, with Charizard's G-Max Wildfire providing sustained damage over time. Gigantamax Toxtricity adds unique Electric and Poison coverage that is difficult to counter effectively. Eternatus stands out as the sole legendary in this tier, offering remarkable Dragon and Poison-type utility across multiple formats.

Rounding out A tier are the classic Kanto starters: Gigantamax Venusaur brings reliable Grass and Poison coverage, while Gigantamax Blastoise provides solid Water-type bulk and damage. All six are excellent investments for any competitive roster.

B tier is anchored by capable Dynamax options that perform well in the right matchups. Latios Dynamax brings strong Dragon and Psychic-type offense, and Gigantamax Lapras offers impressive Ice and Water-type bulk that makes it a reliable raid pick. Espeon Dynamax provides solid Psychic-type damage for players without access to higher-tier alternatives, while Metagross Dynamax remains a dependable Steel and Psychic attacker with excellent staying power.

Hydreigon Dynamax rounds out the Dark and Dragon coverage in this tier, and Rapid Strike Urshifu Dynamax contributes consistent Water and Fighting-type pressure. These are strong secondary options but generally require favorable conditions to truly shine.

C tier contains a mixed bag of Dynamax legendaries and notable Shadow variants. Shadow Dialga retains impressive Dragon and Steel-type power but falls short of the top tiers due to accessibility and consistency concerns. Zapdos Dynamax and Raikou Dynamax both provide Electric-type coverage, though neither dominates the current meta. Crowned Shield Zamazenta offers Fighting-type utility and solid bulk but lacks the offensive ceiling of its counterpart Zacian. Ho-Oh Dynamax rounds out the tier with Fire and Flying coverage that is situationally useful but rarely optimal.

D tier holds Gardevoir Dynamax and Gyarados Dynamax, both of which offer limited utility in the current meta. Gardevoir Dynamax provides Fairy and Psychic coverage but is outclassed by nearly every higher-tier option. Gyarados Dynamax brings Water and Flying-type damage yet struggles to justify a roster slot when stronger alternatives are widely available. Both are best reserved for players with no better options.
