League of Legends: Champion Tier List

Discover the best LoL champions for Patch Patch 26.11. Our tier list ranks the strongest picks for every role so you can dominate solo queue and climb ranked.

Last updated:

The current patch tipped the balance with reworks, nerfs, and the emergence of an absurdly high win-rate jungle monster in Nidalee. But these League of Legends meta shifts come in fast, so there's not a lot of time to learn before a new set arrives. This LoL tier list will keep you up to speed on the best champions to play.

How We Rank These Champions

Win rate, pick rate, and ban rate are all based on data from Emerald+ solo queues on Summoner's Rift globally. These latest patch ban rates and pick rates are combined with pro player trends, accessibility, skill requirements, and team synergies. Win rate is relative to other data, meaning a character with a 55% win rate but a 1% pick rate is more of an outlier than a lock-in at S-Tier.

Meta Overview

The current meta showcases a clear hierarchy with Jinx establishing dominance in S-tier through her exceptional scaling and teamfight impact. A-tier features a diverse mix of champions including Smolder, Brand, and Seraphine, each bringing unique strengths to different team compositions.

The landscape favors champions with strong utility and consistent damage output, while traditional picks find themselves distributed across middle tiers. This meta rewards adaptability and champions who can provide value throughout all game phases.

S Tier

Jinx stands alone at the pinnacle of the current meta, demonstrating unparalleled late-game scaling and teamfight dominance. Her ability to reset and chain eliminations makes her a devastating force in grouped scenarios, while her range and area-of-effect damage provide consistent threat throughout all phases of the game.

Her versatile kit allows for multiple build paths and team compositions, making her an incredibly reliable pick across various matchups. The combination of her passive reset mechanics and explosive damage output in teamfights establishes her as the premier carry champion in the current meta landscape.

A Tier

This tier showcases exceptional diversity with Smolder, Brand, and Seraphine leading the damage dealers, while Fizz provides burst potential and mobility. Nilah offers unique ADC mechanics with damage sharing capabilities, and Janna delivers unmatched utility and peel for team compositions.

Garen and Lee Sin round out the tier with their reliable engage and dueling potential, providing solid frontline presence and playmaking opportunities across multiple game phases.

B Tier

B-tier represents solid, reliable picks with Nami and Malphite providing strong utility and engage potential respectively. Olaf and Rammus offer consistent frontline presence, while Singed brings unique map pressure and teamfight disruption to compositions.

Kled delivers aggressive engage potential, Ziggs provides long-range poke and wave clear, and Shyvana rounds out the tier with her scaling damage and objective control. These champions remain viable but lack the overwhelming impact of higher-tier picks.

C Tier

The middle tier features champions with more situational value, led by Kayle's late-game scaling potential and Renekton's early-game dominance. Braum provides reliable protection and engage, while Illaoi excels in specific team compositions focused around her zone control.

Warwick completes the tier with his sustain and pick potential, though all these champions require more specific conditions to reach their full effectiveness compared to higher-tier options.

D Tier

Amumu and Sona occupy the lowest tier, struggling with consistency in the current meta. While both champions retain their core utility - Ammu with engage potential and Sona with healing support - they lack the impact and reliability needed to compete effectively against higher-tier picks in most team compositions.

Climb Smarter, Not Harder

Any champions guide is a blueprint for success that helps you improve, though it still requires player skill. Do your due diligence and learn 2 or 3 champions for versatility. If you want to ensure availability for all League of Legends champions on the roster, or if you just want to skip the grind, rank-ready accounts from igitems fulfill both needs. There are also LoL boosting services for hitting target ranks sooner.
